Yachting Festival Cannes 2016 NOW OPEN
The 2016 Cannes Yachting Festival is now open and there are many reasons to visit:
The Festival this year has 497 exhibitors, around 580 yachts and boats afloat and it is anticipated that well over 50,000 visitors will attend over the six days.
The 580 craft are made up of 368 motorboats and yachts, 96 RIBs, 81 sailing yachts, 27 sailing catamarans and seven power cats. From these are 195 global launches; 40 European and 53 French debuts.
The show extends across the two areas of the Vieux Port and Port Pierre Canto with the former containing everything from tenders to superyachts, equipment, systems, services and accessories. Port Pierre Canto covers the brokerage side of the market with some 50 yachts in the 22m-50m size range which are available for charter and sale.
The new La Terrasse space is exclusively for the luxury industry including automobile, watches, jewellery, private aviation, property, gastronomy, tableware, couture houses, leather and saddles, furniture and design, art and photography, hotel, high-tech products, perfume and beauty, premium services as well as yachts.
The Ancasta team are on hand to present boats from CNB, Beneteau, Prestige, Lagoon and McConaghy – for more details or to arrange to visit, see here.
