Beneteau Sail Figaro Beneteau Figaro Beneteau 3

The Beneteau Figaro 3 is the first production foiling one-design monohull ever to be designed and will enter the ISO / World Sailing Design category A. With a setback mast, a more extensive and larger sail plan, deeper keel and a ballast free hull, will make it as reliable as it's predecessor, the Figaro 2. The foils will have an inward facing profile which will create drift reduction, improve the boats righting moment, without increasing the movement, which will in turn increase the boats performance. 50 pre-sold boats were sold to Figaro Class members and launched all together in 2019 meaning that all competitors get the same amount of time to get to know their boat before competion.

Key Features

Inward Facing Foils

The foils of the Figaro Beneteau 3 have an inward-facing profile. This helps to reduce drift and improve righting moment which ultimately leads to an increase in speed and performance.

Deep Keel

The keel of the Figaro Beneteau 3 is deep with a straight blade profile. This configuration reduces drag and works in unison with the inward facing foils to reduce drift.

High Performance Sail Package

With a set back mast, high performance sails and a bowsprit, the Figaro Beneteau 3 is well balanced and is 15% faster than its predecessor.
