Update from La Grande Motte
18th Apr 2015
Whilst experiencing all weathers at La Grande Motte this year, the Salon International du Multicoque 2015 has see a huge number of visitors over the past few days from all over Europe. As one of the biggest multihull events in the calendar, this is the place to be to see some of the spectacular innovation going on within the multihull world.
The big news from Lagoon is the introduction of the 450 and 52 SporTop versions and some interesting new graphics displayed on the 380 and 39 models at the show. The other fact to celebrate is that Lagoon have launched of more than 3500 cats since 1987 which is why Lagoon Catamarans are the brand to be trusted when it comes to volume multihull production. There are also some interesting new low-consumption power cats on show from Lagoon, FP and Leopard, with Jaguar receiving good interest at the performance end of the power sector. The final clear area where Lagoon are receiving the public vote is for their high standards of mouldings and interiors.
On the Brokerage front the team from Ancasta Port Napoleon have been inundated and have interestingly picked up a number of new monohull listings from those making the move into catamarans, as well as many sales made from the extensive multihull stock on offer.
