Beneteau First 44.7 Top of the Leaderboard for 2016 RORC Season’s Points Championship

With only two events remaining in the RORC Season’s Points Championship, the Beneteau First 44.7 “Lisa” owned by Nicholas Jones is top of the overall leaderboard with 659.5 points. A string of podium results in some of RORC’s most challenging offshore races this season, including 2nd overall for the Myth of Malham Race in May and the Channel Race in July as well as a very impressive 3rd overall in the Volvo Round Ireland Yacht Race, has seen Jones and his crew dominate the overall standings and take an impressive lead of over 73 points.

The RORC Season’s Points Championship will continue with the RORC Cherbourg Race in September and the Rolex Middle Sea Race starting and finishing in Malta in October.
