Ancasta Summer Collection - OUT NOW
06th Jul 2016
Welcome to Ancasta’s 2016 Summer Collection.
This is the 9th Edition and it appears the appeal of the magazine and its content continues to grow. Ancasta Collection Magazine is proving to be a very effective way of highlighting the advice, services, events, support and indeed the very best in new product that Ancasta continues to provide. The magazine medium makes a nice alternative to the online experience that dominates the modern buying process. We can see this is popular amongst our customers from the number of Collections that are picked up through our offices. People like something to read and flick through.
This Summer edition includes a wide variety of topics;
Events are enjoying new levels of popularity. This edition provides helpful information on the events coming up including the America’s Cup Grand Prix in Portsmouth, the Commodore’s Cup, as well as the Olympics. Also, for the racers we have some detail on the first year of the Fast 40 Class in which Ancasta has a keen interest having had a hand in supplying over 60% of the fleet!
Looking slightly further ahead we also preview the end of summer Boat show season, starting with the wonderful Cannes Yachting Festival in early September, followed by the perennial favourite, the Southampton Boat Show, happening at the same time as the UK’s largest used boat event, the Swanwick Used Boat Show.
One area that is flourishing for Ancasta is the Multihull market. We have seen the rapid growth in new boat sales over the last 10 years and as a consequence the used side of multihulls has now become a very important segment of the leisure boat market. In conjunction with our new boat activity, representing Lagoon and now McConaghy, Ancasta’s brokerage business is providing a very effective market place for used multihulls and inside there is a great collection of the best used Multihulls on the market today.
Bruno Belmont of Group Beneteau has quietly had more influence on modern yacht design, power or sail, than probably any other individual. Currently focussed on Lagoon Catamaran development, Bruno has played a key role in the development of Lagoon’s largest production Cat, the Seventy 7. Inside we find out about this boat and the creative genius behind it.
Another growing department for Ancasta is the high-end Brokerage sales, Ancasta Yachts. Ted Smith, an extremely experienced boater, builder and broker has just joined as Ancasta Yachts Manager. Inside you can see a very nice collection of quality new and used yachts being sold under the Ancasta Yachts banner, and you can also find out about Ted and what Ancasta Yachts can provide for both Buyers and Vendors.
From a technical and service side, HYSRR are introducing the broader boating market to Jet Thruster bow and stern thrusters. This is very clever technology and you can find out more inside.
For the explorer, this edition’s focus is on cruising the Eastern Solent. With the America’s Cup basing itself in Portsmouth, combined with the wonderful waterways in the area, the Eastern Solent is well worth a look.
Finally, now the result of the European referendum has been decided we can move forward, continue to deliver for our customers and as the Summer is truly underway, we can all start making the most of our boating. Enjoy the Summer.
