The Portsmouth Multihull Show Had Something for Everyone
Brilliant weather, wonderful people & a perfect display
This year’s show, saw the eighth successful year and while the weather played no small part in generating a great public turnout, the D Day commemorations which heralded the arrival of Spitfires overhead, simply added to a very positive atmosphere. Graham Laver, our Lagoon Brand Manager told us…
“With orders being finalised on Lagoons up to 45’, the show definitely demonstrated a new confidence in the market place. Visitors were commenting on the high standard of presentation on both the Lagoon 39 and Lagoon 400 we had on display, as well as the efforts put in by all the other exhibitors. “
Graham also wanted to thank Tom and Pam Bennett for their fantastic efforts. Owners of a Lagoon 400 which is nearly 4 years old, Tom and Pam kindly sailed in to show their boat, which many customers thought it was brand new!
Thanks also need to be extended to Colin and Gaynor of Sail and Power Yacht Charter who presented their new and equally immaculate 39 to the public for the first time. They offer custom charters of any type or duration from their Solent base, so if you need a proper sea trial before taking the next step towards ownership, speak to them and they will tailor a charter to suit.
The show provided all enthusiasts with the opportunity to see the very best trimarans and catamarans all in one place and side by side on the water. A very social and relaxed atmosphere prevailed throughout and Trinity’s at the Lightship, which is under new ownership, was a perfect spot to enjoy some quality well priced food and drink in a great setting.
All in all, a fantastic weekend, thoroughly enjoyed by the Ancasta team, and we hope to follow up on a lot of newly established contacts and friendships.
