Having experienced a total freeze on yacht sales at the beginning of the pandemic in March this year, we chose to continue to message our database and share engaging content throughout the lockdown period as a “nice distraction”. We also ran a number of virtual boatshows allowing customers who were locked down at home to continue to dream, plan, research and refine their search. This combined with the news that air travel would be restricted for the foreseeable meant that many people made the decision to enjoy their local waters and holiday closer to home.

Since the easing of lockdown, we have seen unprecedented demand for both sail and power boats of all sizes and descriptions. This demand has resulted in the sale of over 175 boats in the past couple of months. We cannot recall a better time in the companies long history for owners to sell their boats. The speed of turnaround is phenomenal with some quality yachts selling before the listing is fully published!
