Lagoon 42

A new member of the Lagoon family, the Lagoon 42 is simple to sail and offers plenty of comfortable living accommodation both above and below deck, making it perfect for couples or families who want to relax and cruise in comfort, but equally as exciting for those who want more of a thrill. The VPLP design boasts an elegant silhouette with flowing curves and noticeable acceleration of the lines in the bows. This, plus a new coachroof design, shows she is as powerful as she is dynamic for excellent performance under sail.

Key Features

Elevated Helm Position

The elevated helm offers great visibility and maintains excellent communication with the cockpit. A hardtop bimini provides protection from weather and the slide-open hatch ensures a good view of the sails. Plus, with the mast moved further aft, a self-tacking jib, short boom and all controls leading back to the helm, the Lagoon 42 guarantees performance under sail and ease of handling.

Open Plan Cockpit and Saloon

The spacious aft cockpit sits level with the main saloon for an elegant blend of interior and exterior space. The large glazed door at the rear of the saloon provides great protection from the elements but also opens up to create uninterrupted open-plan living.

Elegant and Functional Living Spaces

With the choice of 3 or 4 double ensuite cabins there is plenty of room onboard to host family and friends. Large porthole windows allow light to flood the interior and offer great views of the ocean beyond, while multiple ondeck sunbathing areas provide lots of space for relaxation.

Lagoon Brand Manager

Hannah grew up on the South Coast, messing about in boats from a young age. And after gaining valuable experience of the marine industry working in a chandlery, she then earned a degree in Marine Sports Science from Plymouth University. Returning to Hamble, she landed an aftersales role with a family-run yacht brokerage which quickly progressed into a successful career in boat sales with a particular focus on catamarans.
