Overview

The Wauquiez Pilot Saloon 55 is the largest and most sophisticated design in Wauquiez's line of yachts. Constructed in 2008, RENNE, showcases a distinctive arch supporting the mainsheet, bimini, and cockpit features. Engineered for Bluewater sailing, it boasts a GRP/Balsa sandwich hull and expansive teak decks. For ease of navigation, dual steering stations and electric winches are prominently featured, with lines led aft to maintain a pristine deck. The yacht's self-tacking jib, combined with options for a furling gennaker or Code 0 sail, facilitates effortless short-handed sailing. Below deck, a 360-degree panoramic view enhances the main saloon, complementing the functional layout. Recent upgrades include new Raymarine instruments, updated rigging, and re-wired electrical systems. This ocean-rated yacht is currently available for viewing at Clyde Marina in Ardrossan, United Kingdom.
