Welcome to the 31st
Ancasta Collection
At the time of writing, the world’s best sailors are getting ready to compete for sailing’s oldest trophy, the America’s Cup. And we are thrilled to be at the heart of the action – this iconic yacht racing event will see the Youth and Women’s teams taking flight in one-design foiling AC40s, and an armada of powerful RIBs by Protector Boats will provide high-performance support to AC75 teams. Furthermore, our local brokerage team is living and breathing every moment from the golden shores of Barcelona – the excitement is palpable!
For those with both the means and the want to race the junior version of the AC75’s, Ancasta along with McConaghy, builders of the AC40, are playing a lead role in establishing a new and exciting AC40 circuit for private owners and teams to race these amazing boats. The circuit is due to start in Spring 2025. Contact Ancasta Race Boats for more details.
If a more relaxed yachting experience is what you’re after, two of the world’s premier boat shows are just around the corner. The Cannes Yachting Festival, renowned for its exclusive setting in the South of France, promises to dazzle with a stunning array of world premieres. Sanlorenzo’s breathtaking new SL86A and SP92 superyachts will certainly turn heads, along with the elegant Prestige F5.7 flybridge and Beneteau’s family-friendly Swift Trawler 54. The multihull lineup is equally impressive with the Lagoon 43 and Lagoon 60 making appearances for the first time, too.
Also at Cannes, McConaghy Multihulls will be well represented on their stand in Port Canto, location Sail 137. Amongst information about McConaghy’s eleven boat range, you will find information about their new Green Methanol Fuel Cell system, bringing the dream of more sustainable multihull cruising closer to reality. Please book an appointment with our sales team to be amongst the first to view these fabulous new models.
If you can’t join us on the Côte d’Azur, we’ve still got plenty to show you at Britain’s biggest festival of boating, the Southampton Boat Show. Although we can’t promise sunshine, there’ll be a wide range of boats from the Ancasta Group, including Prestige Yachts, Lagoon Catamarans, Beneteau Power, Beneteau Sail, and Protector Boats to discover. A highlight of the show will be the UK debut of the Beneteau Oceanis 37.1—a versatile 37-footer with a user-friendly sail plan and nimble cruising performance, perfect for island hopping and coastal adventures.
In other news, we are delighted to announce that renowned Dutch bluewater yacht builder Contest Yachts has partnered with the Ancasta Group to form Contest Yachts UK. We look forward to bringing these high-quality performance bluewater cruising yachts to UK shores.
Speaking of dreams coming true, if you want to get a return on your new yacht investment, turn to page 42 to discover new opportunities from Navigare Yachting – think hassle-free yachting with exotic holidays and even a charter income!
