Overview

Introducing Kimberley, a beautifully proportioned classic yacht designed by renowned naval architect John Alden.
Kimberley is a striking 1959 Malabar sloop and she carries every ounce of the grace, pedigree and quiet confidence that defines a true classic.
She has had a phenomenal no expense spared refit inside and out, preserving her soul while ensuring she remains ready for many more seasons, Kimberley presents in pristine condition for her age.

Built in rich mahogany over oak frames, she is everything a proper yacht should be — solid beneath your feet, responsive on the helm, and utterly timeless in presence.
Her long keel gives her that steady, reassuring motion at sea, while her Bermudan rig delivers elegant, effortless performance. All lines led aft for single handed safe sailing.

This is not a boat for hiding away in a Marina. Kimberley was made to be seen under sail —an iconic classic American yacht, slicing cleanly through the water, drawing admiring glances wherever she goes.
Step aboard and step into another era — one of craftsmanship, tradition and real sailing.

Broker Comments

Built in traditional carvel construction, she features mahogany planking over oak frames, offering both strength and classic aesthetic appeal. Her long keel and balanced Bermudan rig make her a capable offshore cruiser as well as a competitive participant in classic regattas. Kimberley is equally suited to relaxed coastal cruising or participation in the thriving classic yacht scene. She turns heads in any harbour and offers a truly authentic sailing experience.
