Build

MATADOR ELLIOTT 44 - 2009
Built originally as "Veloce"

General:
Length O/A: 13.64 m
Beam: 3.94 m
Depth: 3.09 m
Bowsprit: 1.96 m
Weight: 6,894 ton – bulb weight 3,142 ton
Built: 2009/2019 (new optimized keel-blade and new bulb)
IRC Rating: 1.236
ORC Rating: 503.3 (GHP)

E-Glass construction finished in white gloss topsides. Full hull topside respray in 2019.
Lead T bulb keel
Carbon rudder blade and carbon rudder stock. Rudder optimized in 2022.
Twin Carbon steering wheels
Matador is now fitted with a longer keel fin and lighter bulb from new (2019), meaning righting moment has remained constant, but overall displacement has dropped by around 300kg.

Interior:
Full standing head room below decks.
Separate private heads arrangement.
Designated nav table to port.
8 Berths in total, with 4 each side.
Painted white interior offering good sense of space and coach roof windows flooding the saloon with light.

Although Matador has been primarily raced offshore, this is mainly due to the owners wishes rather than the design of the boat, as she is equally at home inshore on W/L courses as she is on longer offshore legs, so we consider the boat to be very multi-purpose in her design.

Her builder China New Yachts, although lesser known have done an exceptional job in her construction and the yacht has never let the owner down from a structural point of view, despite tackling some of the harshest racing conditions out there. Proof of this is that "Matador" has finished EVERY race she has started under her current ownership.
Matador has been a really reliable and trustworthy yacht for the owner and crew and that will stand the boat in a great position moving forward.

For sale at 330,000 EUROS with taxes paid in the EU.
