Broker Comments

The Dehler 41 DS, launched in 1995, was awarded the European Yacht of the Year in its debut year. This recognition was a testament to its innovative design and performance, setting a benchmark for deck-saloon cruising. The yacht's design by the naval architecture firm Judel/Vrolijk & Co and its use of a Kevlar-reinforced ‘performance-optimized’ hull with a balsa or foam core, resulting in a stiff and impact-resistant structure, contributed to its success. The Dehler 41 DS is known for its spacious U-shaped sofa, panoramic views, ample stowage, and the ability to sail effortlessly short-handed with electric winches. These features, along with its modern design, have kept the Dehler 41 DS ahead of its time and continue to impress with its modern features. Key performance features include: - 7/8 fractional rig for efficient sail handling. - Central Winch System (CWS) allowing short-handed operation from the helm. - High-aspect rudder providing excellent control even when heeled. - Capable of tacking through 75–80 degrees, outperforming many contemporary cruisers. These design elements make the yacht comfortable for long-distance cruising while maintaining competitive speed on various points of sail
