Overview
2006 Broom 39 - a very well presented example of these classic motorboats built by Broom in Norfolk as a successor to the Ocean 38. Designed with both inland and coastal cruising very much in mind, 'Prime Time' fits very nicely into the latter category with twin Volvo Penta 310HP inboard diesels on sensible hours. Laid out with an aft master cabin with split en-suite heads and a twin V forward guest cabin divided by the large saloon, galley and dinette. Her current owners have made sure she is kept in beautiful order with a comprehensive inventory including generator, washing machine and separate tumble dryer, automatic trim tabs, heating to interior and cockpit and recent updates to exterior canvas and upholstery and a host of other useful cruising comforts.360 Tour

Broker Comments
The Broom 39 was the successor to the Ocean 38, a well regarded previous model, and the 39 has proved to be as popular and capable. Retaining the principle characteristics of being equally at home on the sea or inland waterways due to the boatyard proximity to the Norfolk Broads and North Sea. With the fine entry bow and three quarter length keel the boat does not ride like a bow-up semi-displacement boat because it planes effectively and with the D6 engines 'Prime Time' should reach the high 20s when clean. The raised cockpit on the Broom is a real plus in rough weather. It offers great visibility without the windage problems of a flybridge and there is level of continuity with the saloon that a flybridge never matches along with side-deck access that rivals trawler yachts. Finally the build quality is typically Broom-esque; solid, well finished and overengineered. A wonderful option for a couple or young family who want the best of coastal cruising with a boat that can be handled easily on inland waterways when required.
