Hallberg Rassy is a Swedish yacht manufacturer based in Ellös on the island of Orust. Renowned for its superb range of blue water cruising sailboats, the brand was founded by Christoph Rassy, who bought Harry Hallberg’s innovative boatyard in 1972 – Hallberg was building GRP boats, which, at the time, were pioneering. Designed by Argentinian naval architect Germán Frers, Hallberg Rassy has produced over 9400 sailing yachts and is still owned by the Rassy family.
