Antifouling

Anode Replacement

Sacrificial anodes are a simple yet effective way of preventing the metal on through-hull fittings, engines and sail drives from corrosion. It's essential to check your anodes regularly, and arrange replacement once they are less than 50% of their original size. We can arrange a lift, hold and replacement in the HYS yard.

Boat Covers & Marine Upholstery

Shield your yacht from the elements and save time on cleaning with custom made boat covers and upholstery. From winch and steering wheel covers to over-boom awnings and cockpit canopies, we can source high-quality canvas protection that fits perfectly and is simple to put on and remove.

Safety Equipment Servicing

Your marine safety equipment, including liferafts, lifejackets, EPIRBs, and Jonbuoy MOBs, need to be regularly serviced to ensure they'll work in an emergency. Our team can arrange for the kit to be collected from your boat, delivered to our safety partners for servicing, and returned.

Carpet Cleaning

Let us take the hassle out of cleaning your onboard carpets. Our technicians have access to the latest equipment and cleaning materials to carefully lift dirt and grime from carpet fibres without damaging them.

French Polishing

Inject new life into your interior woodwork with our French Polishing service. This traditional technique involves applying multiple thin coats of shellac to revive the wood's natural colour and provide your wooden interior with a high gloss finish.

Interior / Exterior Valet

From scrubbing the decks and polishing the stainless, to deep cleaning the galley, bilges and engine bay, our meticulous cleaning team will leave your boat gleaming. Whether you need a one-off valet or regular cleaning services, we'll get your boat looking its best.

Hull Polishing

Over time, painted topsides often become dull and faded due to UV damage and salt and grime build-up, but hull polishing can make them look incredibly sleek and vibrant again. After cutting back the gelcoat with a cleaning compound we'll buff and polish it to a glossy finish and apply a protective wax.

Teak Cleaning

Cleaning teak decks requires special care to prevent the softer wood from being worn away by overzealous scrubbing. Regular gentle washing with a soft brush will keep the wood clean, but a bi-annual teak treatment can help prolong the life of your decking. Our experienced Yacht Care Team can carry this out for you as well as check the decks for any caulking damage.

Ancasta Yacht Services is based on the picturesque banks of the River Hamble in the UK with direct access to Southampton Water and the Solent.

The Port Hamble site features covered workshops for yachts up to 26 meters, an engineering workshop, wood and laminating facilities, and a joinery shop.
