Protector Boats in Action at SailGP Auckland
It was fantastic to see a fleet of three new Protector Chase 330 RIBs in action at the recent SailGP event in Auckland, New Zealand.
Sold and delivered by Ancasta International Boat Sales, these heavy-duty power boats supported the high-octane event and daredevil teams out on the racecourse just 10 days after the handover – a testament to their superb reliability and ability to perform under pressure.
With the F50 multihulls now equipped with new go-fast T-foils, the crews flew around the race course at breakneck speeds up to 100km/h – a tough job for most RIBS to keep up with but handled with finesse by Protector boats, proving why they are the go-to choice as fast, high-performance support boats.
The Protector 330 Chase is a high-performance centre console RIB, widely used in the world’s biggest sailing events and increasingly favoured for recreational and commuter use. Its extended hull and advanced design ensure a smooth, stable ride even at high speeds and in rough conditions.
