Accommodation

ACCOMMODATION
>> Interior LED lighting throughout in 2015
This yacht has the standard Swan 65 layout with sleeping accommodations for 6-8 people, but with various small modifications - some from new and some refined over time under different owners.
The wood work is in good shape and to the typical and now renowned Nautor standard.

Forward there is a V berth arrangement, stowage bins under, lockers each side and a large overhead hatch.

There are two good size guest cabins, stowage lockers and hanging locker.
o The port cabin has a double berth and fold up desk / vanity unit on the inner partition bulkhead. The stowage locker under the top bed also features special custom drawer unit. This cabin has a private en-suite head with a toilet (new SANIMARIN electric head 2022 ), wash-basin, vanity and shower. This washroom was repainted in 2011.
o The starboard cabin with upper and lower berth also had a washroom area forward, this forms a walkthrough to the forepeak/sail locker. The toilet and sink have been removed by the current owner and in their place he installed a FRIGO Boat ice maker and custom lockers laundry and other storage.
Aft of the guest area we enter the main saloon, which is very spacious and comfortable.
On the port side is a U shaped settee with folding teak table which seats six persons.

Outboard are lockers and shelves. There is stowage behind the settee backs.
To starboard is a long settee that is perfect for entertaining or for use underway as a sea berth.
There is again plenty of storage room behind the cushions. Also a locker forward of the sofa.

The saloon seating have new upholstery from 2020.With cover
Above the saloon is a large hatch, allowing good ventilation and light (also large enough to remove the engine through).
Aft to starboard is the forward facing navigation station. This area features a large chart table (revarnished in 2008) with a comfortable seat and all of the navigation electronics in plain view and within easy reach. The electrical panels are conveniently located here as well.
Across from the navigation area and on port side is the U-shaped galley. This provides plenty of counter space and numerous opening cupboards and drawers for storage.
The galley was re-varnished in 2008 and in January 2013 has been fitted with new grey work top surfaces (inside of fridge top was also relined).
The freezer and refrigerator systems were renewed in 2010 - Waco 24v air cooled system. Freezer evaporator was replaced in 2015
The fridge is a top and front opening unit and the freezer is a top opening unit.
Fridge system has been replaced in 2022
Force 10 propane cooker, 3 burner, with oven - 2020
Double stainless steel galley sink.
Extractor hood.

The walkthrough to the aft cabin is to starboard, past the chart table with a teak door for privacy.

As you enter the cabin there is to starboard a built in teak desk with opening top and lockers outboard plus a number of handy drawers. The aft cabin encompasses the full beam of the yacht and is highlighted by a custom built (by Koehler Boatyard of San Diego) oversized comfortable double berth on port side and fitted with a custom made deluxe, high-end mattress (the former owner said that this was the best modification he ever made to the boat!!).
There is a single berth to starboard with a centrally located settee, lockers behind and opening port above.
Forward of the double berth is an en-suite head and shower with electric toilet (renewed)
2008), sink, mirror, and ample storage room.
Ceilings panels throughout the yacht were renewed 2010.
Many light fittings and overhead wiring also replaced in 2010.
