Overview

1986 Oyster 435 - a wonderful example of these British built and designed ocean going yachts. 'Dakota' has been maintained and updated considerably in the last five years, new North main and gennaker in 2022, standing rigging in 2019, new water maker 2020, new Axiom plotter in 2022 and a comprehensive inventory of other Raymarine electronics installed in 2016. Laid out with two (and a half) cabins there is a V berth forward with two bunk berths in the leading passageway sharing the forward heads, the aft master cabin has a large double with heads and the saloon offers plenty of seating around the ubiquitous large fold out table. She is a pleasure to sail and a joy to spend time aboard and will make the ideal family cruiser that is equally at home in Coastal waters as she is in long distance cruising.

Broker Comments

Oyster are renowned for building yachts of distinction and 'Dakota' certainly does not disappoint. The Oyster 435 was the second most popular model ever built with 65 hulls produced which is understandable when looking at her sleek lines and impressive styling. She is a lovely yacht that is in great condition with maintenance and upgrades by her current and former owners over the recent years. A centre cockpit Ketch, she provides 8 very comfortable berths including fantastic owners suite as well as two bathrooms & generous amounts of living space.
