Overview"Datacom" is a MAT 1180 designed by Mark Mills and built in 2016.
She is hull #5 and optimized for the ORCi rating rule, where she has proven extremely successful.
Highly upgraded beyond the initial build specification allows her to punch above her weight, whilst maintaining that rating edge.
These MAT 1180's have taken victories across a huge variety of events, whether it be IRC, ORCi - inshore or offshore.
A hugely fun, yet simple boat to sail that doesn't exhaust running budgets, make this a very good all-round package for someone wanting a bit of "get up and go".
