Overview
The MonteCarlo range was a massive success for Beneteau - and the 32 (the biggest seller in the range) is a perfect example of what made this model so popular. With its Airstep hull technology (allowing the boat to plane with greater efficiency) and its class leading cockpit layout and cleverly designed targa top, this is a boat very much suited to weekend cruising - "with a dash of party and a twist of performance" (as the press said at the time of its launch).With only 55 hours on her engines, Elena III has hardly been run in - and yet her skippered maintenance has ensured everything is as she was when first delivered (with a monthly engine run just to keep everything healthy). This means (with her high specification including generator and air con to name but a few extras) that you can pick up a virtually new MonteCarlo 32 for around 50% of her original list price. How many bargains like this are there around at the moment?
