Welcome to the 27th Ancasta Collection
With the recent arrival of Spring, we are really looking forward to a fun filled and exciting boating season ahead. Things are still very busy for Ancasta Group sales with the demand for our wide range of new boats continuing along with the demand for our market leading brokerage services.
The long list of boat shows for this year kicks off with the International Multihull Show in La Grande Motte, France in April, quickly followed by the South Coast Boat Show in Southampton and the Palma International Boat Show. Make sure you book your place on our Motorboat Cruise in Mallorca for a fantastic Balearics adventure. And if motorboats are your number one pick, the British Motor Yacht Show brings together the world’s best motor yacht brands including our own collections from Prestige Yachts and Bluegame Yachts.
We are delighted to welcome our new Brand Manager for Protector Boats, Andy Andrews, to the team, and we look forward to further demonstrating the incredible capabilities of these robust, high-performance RIBs. The chase boat of choice for the Emirates Great Britain SailGP Team, their lead Chase Boat Skipper gives us an insight into what it’s like to support an F50 team on one of the most demanding sailing racecourses in the world and how the impressive capabilities of Protector Boats help him do this on page 28.
The phenomenal new AC40 is making waves in the race boat market, too. A scaled-down version of the AC75, the AC40 is available to buy by private owners from Ancasta Race Boats. Find out more about the incredible technology onboard and what it’s like to own one of these foiling flying machines on pages 18 – 21.
For something out of the ordinary, you might enjoy our Sanlorenzo feature that peers into the Sanlorenzo shipyard to reveal the progress of a new Sanlorenzo SL96A in build. With the boat still in the mould, this is just the beginning, so watch this space as we will follow its journey over the next few issues.
In the boatyard, our turnkey boat maintenance and aftersales services also continue to grow with the acquisition of Cowes-based, Spencer Rigging. Working alongside our already successful Advanced Rigging and Hydraulics in Hamble, Spencer Rigging will deliver high-quality marine, architectural and commercial rigging services to Ancasta customers, along with Spencers’ existing multiple commercial customers which include the RNLI.
Finally, here at Ancasta Group, we believe in giving back and helping more people get out on the water, and that’s why we’ve partnered up with the Ellen MacArthur Cancer Trust to inspire more young people living through and beyond cancer to believe in a brighter future after treatment. For every new boat sold, Ancasta will fund a young person to go on a four-day sailing adventure with the Trust for the first time.
And that’s not all! With many more new and exciting projects in the pipeline, there’s much more to come. Be sure to sign up for the Ancasta e-newsletter to be the first to hear about the latest product launches and new services.
