NEW Ancasta Collection magazine issue #21 out now!
As another successful year draws to a close, we’ve been reflecting on the highlights of the past twelve months. Despite the Brexit uncertainty, sales continue to remain buoyant, and we’ve seen much interest in the launch of several new vessels including the Beneteau First 53, Prestige 520, Beneteau Swift Trawler 41 Fly, Gran Turismo 32 and Prestige 420. Multihull sales are still booming with high demand for the family-friendly Lagoon 46, and the new Lagoon Sixty 7 introduces a new standard of luxury and long-distance cruising capacity that is certainly turning heads. Furthermore, we’ve seen a significant increase in enquiries for our new Shared Ownership and Yacht Investment programmes and many happy customers are now enjoying their new boats.
Looking towards 2020, we have plenty of exciting events on the horizon, with boot Düsseldorf kicking off proceedings. If you haven’t been to this spectacular show, we recommend adding it to your diary. Take a look at our guide to get a glimpse into the vast array of watersports exhibitors, entertainment and, of course, the huge selection of boats appearing at this iconic exhibition. We’ll be presenting some of the very best examples from the Prestige, Lagoon, Beneteau, McConaghy and CNB collections, so get in touch to book an appointment and take advantage of our VIP concierge services.
For those of you looking to charter a boat for your next vacation, take a look at our online Yacht Charter booking system to browse a wide variety of luxury yachts all around the world. For a more bespoke charter experience, take inspiration from Indigo Bay’s guide to cruising in the Greek Cyclades Islands and let them create a unique holiday afloat that you’ll never forget.
If the bleak winter days are getting you down, our guide to Sotogrande is a must-read. A hidden nook on the south coast of Spain, this pocket of understated luxury, scenic marinas, high-class restaurants and breathtaking views of the Mediterranean Sea is a lesser-known gem that is often missed on the passage from Gibraltar to Puerto Banús. This is also the home of Ancasta’s newest brokerage location so get in touch to find out more.
Ancasta Race Boats is very excited to announce that the first UK Melges IC37 has been scooped up and the class is fast gaining momentum in the UK. After its tremendous success at the New York Yacht Club, we look forward to seeing eight boats competing in the UK race series in 2020. If you want to get involved in this new and dynamic one-design amateur class, contact our Melges Brand Manager, Sam Pearson, to book a test sail.
Last, but not least, we’ve collated over 500 used boat listings from which we hope you will find a vessel to suit your needs and wishes. There are plenty more listed on our new website too, so we’re confident you’ll find an opportunity to suit you. Plus, we have lists of buyers wanting to embark on their next sailing adventure as soon as possible, so please get in touch if you are looking to sell your boat in the near future as we probably have someone ready and waiting to buy.
