Motor Boat Club
Mallorca 2023
The Ancasta Motor Boat Club Cruise, held in Mallorca from May 5th to May 7th, was a delightful event for boat owners looking to meet new friends and enjoy a weekend of cruising in the company of like-minded enthusiasts.
On day 1 Setting off from Cala d’Or, the cruise began with a memorable stop at Ses Covetes, where Flite School Mallorca provided an exhilarating e-foil session. Guests had the opportunity to experience e-foiling, courtesy of Flite School Mallorca, which added an extra layer of excitement to the event. The e-foiling activity was a highlight, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the thrilling experience.
On day 2 of the event, we started the day with a delightful breakfast at Porto Cari. Energized and ready for adventure, we embarked on a cruise to Portocolom, where we anchored at a buoy and indulged in refreshing swims in crystal-clear waters. The stunning surroundings added to the joyous atmosphere, creating a picturesque setting for relaxation and water activities.
Throughout the cruise, a convoy of five boats, including the prestigious Prestige 460 and the brand new Prestige M48 power cat, cruised together, creating a beautiful sight on the water. Boat owners had the chance to explore the capabilities of the Prestige M48 power cat and the Prestige 460, which were available for demonstration and hands-on experience. It provided a fantastic opportunity for enthusiasts to experience and helm these impressive boats and get a feel for their performance.
Adding to the excitement, we were lucky to have Dan from Dan Boat Life on the cruise. He took the helm on the the Prestige M48 and can all look forward to his upcoming video on his YouTube channel, @BoatLife_DansBoatLife. We eagerly await his insights and observations about this remarkable power cat.
The atmosphere throughout the event was relaxed, fun, and happy, with boat owners mingling and forging new friendships. The first day’s activities were complemented by evening drinks at Sky Bar and a delightful meal at Sa Llotja in Cala d’Or, enhancing the social aspect of the event and providing further opportunities for networking and enjoyment.
The quality of the food served during the event was exquisite, adding to the overall experience. Additionally, attendees received gift bags, which we hope were enjoyed by all.
Feedback from participants was overwhelmingly positive. One boat owner expressed their excitement, saying they
“had never cruised in convoy with so many boats, making it a truly memorable experience.”
The focus of the Ancasta Motor Boat Club Cruise was primarily on creating a relaxed and enjoyable environment for boat owners to connect, explore the beautiful island of Mallorca and share their passion for motor boating.
In conclusion, the Ancasta Motor Boat Club Cruise was a resounding success. The combination of cruising in company, the exciting e-foil session, the impressive Prestige boat demonstrations, and the opportunity to meet new friends and explore the scenic Island of Mallorca made for a thoroughly enjoyable weekend. Boat owners and enthusiasts looking for a well-organized event with a relaxed atmosphere should certainly consider joining future cruises organized by the Ancasta Motor Boat Club.
