Welcome to the 33rd
Ancasta Collection

As the days grow longer and spring begins, everyone here at Ancasta is looking forward to an exciting boating season ahead. The boatyards are alive with activity as owners prepare their vessels for launch, and our brokers are hard at work helping buyers find their ideal yacht for a fun-filled summer of sailing.
Our busy boat show season kicks off in April with the Ancasta Spring Boat Show, closely followed by the International Multihull Show in La Grande Motte, France – don’t miss the very best from Lagoon, McConaghy, and Prestige Yachts. We’re also looking forward to showing you around our impressive collection of yachts and power boats at the South Coast Boat Show and the now well established and very important British Motor Yacht Show.
As the official Prestige Yachts dealer for the Balearics, we’ll also be joining our brokerage teams in Mallorca for the Palma International Boat Show in May. We have four offices on the island with an expert team of multilingual yacht brokers providing exceptional service and yachting advice. And if you are thinking of heading to the Balearics this summer, don’t miss our cruising guide on page 24, where the team shares their local insights into the best places to visit by boat in Mallorca.
The Palma International Show will also see the Ancasta team presenting Bluegame Yachts. Bluegame is experiencing exponential growth due to its innovative approach to design and sustainability, with the BGX range proving particularly popular to UK buyers.
We’ve had some exciting new launches recently, including a spectacular introduction of the new Lagoon 38 at an exclusive VIP event at the Lagoon factory in France and the first glimpse of McConaghy’s new electric Panther multihulls. We also celebrated the much-anticipated reveal of the new Prestige F4.3 at Boot Düsseldorf Boat Show, as well as the new planing Beneteau First 30, which is already proving very popular with over fifty boats sold.
Our Multihull collection has also garnered much praise, with three catamarans nominated for the Multihull of the Year Awards – the Lagoon 43, McConaghy MC75, and Bluegame BG75. Beneteau’s family-friendly Swift-Trawler 54 was also crowned Best Passagemaker in this year’s Motor Boat Awards.
In the world of yacht racing, excitement is building for the return of the prestigious Admiral’s Cup hosted by RORC in Cowes. Ancasta Race Boats has assisted several teams in getting ready for the event, and we still have race-ready yachts available for any last-minute entries. We’re also very proud to be representing the sale of the IMOCA 60 ‘ADVENS1’, which Sam Goodchild sailed around the world in the most recent Vendée Globe, leading the fleet numerous times and finishing ninth overall – congratulations Sam!
Sanlorenzo Yachts UK continues to flourish with multiple sales and new projects afoot. Turn to page 8 to discover the incredible level of customisation the team can deliver – no detail was overlooked on this highly personalised SL96/A.
Exceptional customisation works have also emerged from the Ancasta Yacht Services sheds, including the recent launch of a brand new Protector Targa 380. Designed as a superyacht tender-cum-leisure boat, it features extensive personalisation, including Flexiteek decking, bespoke storage, tailored shading, and unique aesthetic finishes – the stunning images on page 17 speak for themselves. The team has also been instrumental in adapting a new Beneteau Oceanis 46.1 for the Ellen MacArthur Cancer Trust, which will help more young people to benefit from the charity’s life-changing voyages – read the full story on page 30.
There is still time to schedule maintenance work and upgrades for your yacht before the summer season begins, too – speak to our experts at AYS to discover how they can make getting back on the water stress-free. Advanced Rigging and Hydraulics have shared invaluable tips on how to look after your rigging on page 32, and Spencer Rigging in Cowes are well-equipped to assist both local and visiting boats with all aspects of rigging work.
Finally, with over 500 new and used boats for sale, we’re confident you’ll discover a vessel that fits perfectly with your needs. If you don’t see what you’re looking for, our team is happy to assist – visit your local Ancasta office for a coffee and a chat, or give us a call, and we’ll carry out a personalised search for you.
See you on the water soon!
