What a remarkable end to the year! Firstly, thank you to everyone who joined us at the Cannes Yachting Festival and the Southampton International Boat Show, in September. It was a pleasure to meet you all and show you around some of the very latest yacht launches from Sanlorenzo, Prestige, Beneteau, and Lagoon.
We also relished the opportunity to attend the show-stopping 37th America’s Cup in Barcelona. Appearing alongside the world’s best sailors competing for sailing’s oldest trophy, we hosted viewings of the McConaghy MC75 at the Barcelona Superyacht Regatta at Real Club Nautico Barcelona (see page 21) and watched the racing up close from the McConaghy hydrogen-powered Chase Zero.
Furthermore, the revolutionary McConaghy-built foiling AC40s showed off their might as they took to the racecourse for the inaugural PUIG Women’s America’s Cup (see page 34). It was such an honour to be a part of this historic event, and we can’t wait to see the private owners AC40 race circuit take off soon.
Next up, we are looking forward to the highly anticipated Dusseldorf Boat Show in January, which, as always, promises an extraordinary display of yachts from our esteemed brands, including Beneteau Sail, Beneteau Power, Prestige, Bluegame, Sanlorenzo, Lagoon, and McConaghy.
Amongst this impressive lineup, you’ll be treated to some world firsts, including the new First 30 from Beneteau, and a mystery new model from Prestige Yachts, which will be revealed at the show.
We encourage you to book an appointment early to skip the queues and enjoy exclusive access to your preferred boats. And if you can’t make it to Germany, there’ll be more opportunities to join us at numerous UK events in the spring – turn to page 4 for more details.
