Overview

KANTEERA is a Truly Classic 78, designed by Andre Hoek and launched by the Claasen Shipyard in the Netherlands, in July 2006. With stunning, classic lines and excellent sailing characteristics, Kanteera is the perfect fit for the keen sailor that loves tradition and style but does not want to compromise on sailing performance. She has all the comforts necessary for long stays and passages, and is solid and very sea-worthy. She had a comprehensive and extensive refit in 2019-2020 to include mechanical, electrical, interior, audio system, deck, rigging, etc. Full report is available.
The yacht is maintained by two full time professional crew, and crew accommodation is available on board. One should mention the The two cockpits, giving a degree of privacy to the owners, and it should also be noted she can be sailed short-handed due to a very thoughtful design.
