Tayana 37, cutter rigged ketch built in 1978 - A dedicated world cruising / liveaboard yacht. In current Ownership since 2003 and spent 32 years of her life in fresh water. 7 berth in 2 cabins. Continuously maintained since purchase and a significant number of items added including: coppercoat (2016), new standing rigging (2020), new Harken furling systems (2020), new Sanders sails (2020), AIS (2017), Wheelpilot, Raymarine i70, Garmin chartplotter, new electric windlass (2017), full cockpit cover, Nanni 40hp diesel engine (2006), bow thruster, Featherstream prop, solar panels, liferaft, dinghy and outboard. Designed by Robert Perry, and built by the Ta Yang Yacht Building Company in Taiwan in 1978
Designed for the long-term liveaboard cruising sailor. Beautifully fitted out with teak decks and rich wood interior.
In current ownership since 2003 - From build until 2010, the boat was based in the Ijslemeer (fresh water) in the Netherlands and moved to Plymouth in summer 2010.
Continuously maintained since purchase and a significant number of items added, and maintenance performed.

SALOON
U-shaped seating to port around drop-leaf height adjustable table (converts to double berth) and settee opposite (pull-out double berth with leeboard). Plenty of cupboard storage, drawers and shelving. Eight opening portlights (two above galley), teak butterfly skylight (new laminated glass and gaskets 2005), paraffin lamp over table, reading lights, double-fronted hanging locker, single fronted hanging locker (also houses paraffin heater and tank).

GALLEY
To port, with gimballed Eno gas cooker with twin burner, oven and grill. Twin stainless-steel sinks with mixer tap and separate seawater tap. Large top-loading 12v refrigerator. Various lockers, drawer and recessed storage.

CHART TABLE
To starboard, forward facing with chart stowage.

AFT QUARTER BERTH
Excellent passage berth located behind chart table, to starboard.

HEADS COMPARTMENT
To port, with manual WC, stainless-steel sink, storage cupboards, teak grate sole, opening porthole. Access to holding tank.

FORECABIN
V berth/double, storage cupboards, shelving, reading lights, two portholes and opening hatch. Access to chain locker.
