Overview
1990 Starlight 39 built to the designs of Stephen Jones, powered by Volvo Penta MD22 50HP diesel engine.Sleeps six in two doubles, two singles & one child size pilot berth, two heads compartments & a superb inventory including wheel steering, solar panel, shore power, cabin heating, smart pilot autohelm, GPS and Raymarine ST60 navigation aids.
A boat well know fast cruising and spacious accommodation. 2010 upgrades included new standing rigging & a genoa, alongside the renewal of teak laid cockpit & cabin flooring. All lighting has been renewed & a new cooker in 2023.

CONSTRUCTION
Hand laminated GRP hull with full length interior moulding bonded to give strength to hull - contains polyurethane foam which provides buoyancy and contributes to hull strength and also provides effective thermal insulation and also reduces condensation.
The GRP deck is securely bonded to the hull using aluminum toe rails.
Highest quality materials are used in the moulding process to give protection against osmosis.
Wing keel is bolted through a deep STUB keel
This wing gives the yacht increased effective draft when the boat is heeled and also provides stability down-wind.
The deep rudder is skeg mounted for strength and directional stability and provides good control at all times.
The teak laid cockpit was renewed in 2010
There is wheel steering with a hide-covered wheel

SLEEPS SIX IN TWO DOUBLES, TWO SINGLES PLUS ONE CHILD-SIZED PILOT BERTH TO PORTThe aft cabin has a large double berth with adjacent seat, cupboard and hanging locker, with two drawers under the bunk. There is further stowage under the seat
and a further locker in the bulk head which includes a vanity mirror. The en suite heads facility is directly accessible from the aft cabin, which has a
marine toilet, which drains directly into a holding tank, shower and basin, with electric pump out of sump.
There is a double berth in the fore cabin with adjacent seat and hanging locker and en suite heads and shower, with vanity mirror.
The cabins are heated with a Mikuni MY30 marine heater with three outlets - the aft cabin, the main cabin and the forward heads
The cabin is spacious with two single settee berths with lee cloths, and a child-size pilot berth to Port, the front of which folds down.
The solid teak table has two central stowage lockers in it and two folding extensions.
The galley has plenty of stowage in the form of cupboards, drawers, lockers and racks and twin sinks which are fed by electric pump and separate foot pump.
There is a pull-out shelf to extend the work surface in the galley
The gimballed gas cooker has oven, grill and two burners and was new in 2010. The cooker and all gas lines and regulator were serviced and replaced in 2023.
There is also a large cool box with incorporated fridge and holding plate. This needs servicing.
The main cabin also has a forward facing chart table and seat, and hanging locker behind

The floors were all renewed in 2010 and are therefore in good condition
