Originally Commissioned by Patience Wales, the long time editor of Sail Magazine and successfully campaigned in the Newport Bermuda races under her original name Boston Light, she was re - named Montauk Light and is now part one Jersey Registered. She is an ideal long distance cruising yacht with a reliable and safe sea keeping character. Below decks the woodwork in Birma teak is timeless . She offers a spacious and open layout, yet has cabins with privacy when needed. She has berths suitable for offshore passage making as well as for when in port. Her nav station and galley are both well thought out and offer a secure area in a seaway. MONTAUK LIGHT offers 6 berths with the ability to use the u-shaped dinette in the salon for more berths if necessary. Her Groco heads were factory rebuilt 2020.
This is a very nicely maintained and consistently updated Blue water yacht.Her owners have sailed her extensively and she is well equipped to go anywhere. TAX Paid in the USA. Just arrived in the EU
