Layout
Mylius Yachts shipyard was born in 2003 from the love for sailing of three friends who, after having sailed from an early age and then having different professional experiences, decide to found an innovative shipyard, which reflects their way to live and love the sea.
In 2004, the first Mylius 11E25 was launched, a sailboat equipped with important innovations including the large raised sundeck at the stern, a new solution that has been greatly imitated ever since. In 2007 it was the turn of the Mylius 14E55, winner of two Italian ORC Int'l championships, among other things, which was followed in 2011 by the Mylius 19E95, with the victory at the Nautical Design Award.
Mylius Yachts designs and builds fast, elegant and exclusive cruising sailboats, the perfect balance between style, comfort, performance and functionality, capable of offering the highest quality of navigation and life on board. Safe, comfortable, welcoming and easy cruising boats, both to drive ("Easy Sailing") and to manage, with complete systems and equipment.
Fast, light boats, built and armed entirely in carbon, therefore pleasant and fun with all conditions and crew. Semi-custom boats, designed and built entirely "in house", according to the wishes of the owners, with a unique style, the craftsmanship of the past and an incessant search for the best quality.
The Mylius 16E95 was then born in 2013, building on all the learning experiences that have gone before, both in hardware selection, but also design characteristics that owners really wanted to see on board.
"TESTACUORE" is still with her first owner, who is a highly experienced skipper who also owns his own Ship Yard, so presentation and the functionality of systems has always been paramount in his ownership journey.
Not only has he cruised the boat short handed and with family, she has also competed on the Med ORCi racing scene with great success and extensive upgrades to the sail inventory and rig + rigging, make this a brilliant all-round yacht.

TESTACUORE is equipped with a full carbon rig package from Southern Spars.
A two-spreader design, with white gloss painted finish and a pin-head backstay arrangement.
Standing rigging is all carbon EC6 from Future Fibres and offers huge weight saving, also improving sea keeping abilities.
The boat is fitted with a large, park-avenue style carbon boom, again painted white, which greatly eases sail handling when short crewed.
A fixed carbon bowsprit is also installed, with integrated anchor roller and storage position at the mid point.
When racing a fixed bobstay is reinstated to take increased loadings from Spinnakers and Code 0 sails.
She is also fitted with an under-deck furling system at the bow, for furling headsails when in cruising mode. This is electrically operated.
A single backstay and vang are both hydraulically operated from the control panel in the cockpit.
The boat is supplied with a full running rigging package, that is up to date and in good order.
TestaCuore is a very well laid out platform for family and friends sailing.
Designed with 3 cabins and 3 independent bathrooms, she can be cruised for decent lengths of time without inconvenience.
Also equipped with a very large cockpit area and thanks to her streamlined sail handling systems, there is lots of available deck space for lounging, rather than the requirement of extra winches/hardware etc.
Her Teak decks add an element of class and with all new external cushions in 2023, she is a wonderfully comfortable area above deck, in particular her moulded cockpit seating is a great feature, even more so when the yacht is heeled.
Below decks her volume is impressive, cleverly concealed underneath her coach roof, which also appears sleek to the eye.
Centrally above head there is a section of sky lights flooding the saloon with light and with a dining table to port and day seating to starboard, this is a beautiful area to enjoy day or night.
Aft there are twin, double cabins, each with heads and shower area.
The starboard cabin enjoy a single smaller berth up high, an ideal place for smaller children.
The master cabin is located fwd in the bow area, with a lower sole height to ensure maximum headroom throughout all areas. Forward again is the main owners bathroom.
The galley area is connected to the main saloon on the port side and is very well appointed, with oven/grill, electric hob and double fridge space.
At the dining table is easy seating for 6 or 8 guests, with folding table leaf to extend table if required. Also in the saloon is a retractable TV at the dining area.
Off to starboard is a functional Navigation area, that easily doubles up as office space, with great storage above and below the desk.
