Overview

Moody 66 centre cockpit blue water cruising yacht with shoal keel, light blue hull & teak deck and is the last Moody built in UK. Commissioned here at Swanwick Marina, Southampton and then sailed and based in the Mediterranean. Very high specification which includes a complete new Raymarine navigation equipment replaced in 2015 and New North Sails in 2018. Onan 13.5 kw 50 hertz generator, Cruisair air conditioning 48,000 BTU with 3 control zones. Simpson 24v electric stainless davits. Carbon fibre passarelle. Vaccuflush freshwater wc’s. The Moody 66 is a remarkably powerful boat, fully capable of fast passage times across the full range of conditions. Her stunning performance derives from the Bill Dixon's hull shape balances the power of the underwater sections and lead keel with the tall, high aspect ratio, hydraulically powered fully furling cutter rig with self-tacking stay sail.
