This IRC racer/cruiser is the brainchild of Marc Lombard, arguably the top French offshore designer of recent years.
A passionate English owner brought the concept to reality in 2016 and this go-anywhere, IRC optimized all-rounder has never failed to deliver on the race track, or when gently cruising with the family.
1st Overall in Round Britain and Ireland - 1st Overall in Antigua to Bermuda - 1st in Class Caribbean 600 - 5th Overall Rolex Fastnet race are just some of the successes to date.

Exceptional form stability and forward volume allow this boat to be pushed harder than similar sized race boats and with a cockpit layout designed for shorter-handed sailing, you don't need a small army to extract maximum performance.
An exciting package on offer here and a boat that ticks an awful lot of boxes.

"PATA NEGRA" is a Marc Lombard IRC 46 design, that was a custom build specifically for the owners requirements.
Offshore capable - High performing - Manageable handling - IRC/ORCi potent.

She was launched in 2016 and built by CSC Composites in Turkey who have many successes to their name.

For weight saving and ease of maintenance, all the composite shells (hull and deck, main bulkheads) are faired with epoxy type light filler and spray gun PU painted for nice finish.
The furniture is mainly built using plywood panels (8, 10 -12mm), marine grade.
All of the sole boards are Foam sandwich bi-axial fiberglass with a 2 mm laminate of wood.
