Imagine being able to buy a boat that has the reputation and build quality of one of the world's top boatbuilders - but with the exclusivity and design flair that can only come from a handbuild. As one of Italy's top design houses, Prima Design took an empty 630e hull 'off the shelf' from Hanse and then started to weave their Italian magic. Out went the bog standard galley and in came a bespoke, all-aluminium creation from kitchen designer "Gullo of Florence". For the saloon, all floors were replaced with the finest Italian leather and wood inlays by Tuscan artisans - saving 3 tonnes of weight in the process by using honeycomb board instead of the standard (and heavy) plywood for both wall and floors. And as for the interior design, just take a look in the attached photos at the solid walnut panelling, the beautiful (but practical) cabin storage lockers and cupboards and the ingenious dual use coffee/dining tables that convert at the press of a button. As if to underline his attention to detail, the owner has even ensured that the light switches are a thing of beauty!

Performance-wise, this quest for excellence continues above deck with the Axon carbon mast and Park Avenue boom; the Miya rod standing rigging and the Spectra running rigging (with below deck Bamar electric headsail furler and a Harken switch system for the mainsail cars). The result is a unique and beautiful creation that is also faster and lighter than her competitors - coming 3rd in last year's Rolex Giraglia race series.

But don't just take my word for it - watch the attached drone video of her in action and her unique build story - as told by the designer and owner - to understand that with Tuscan Spirit you will be more than just her owner, but the guardian of a classical piece of timeless Italian design.
