Overview

"Gweilo" is a top level example of the popular Farr 280.
Launched originally as a One Design boat, these pocket rockets have always offered a dual purpose yacht, thanks to their potential under handicap rules.
Gweilo is in only her third ownership since new and is hugely upgraded from the standard boat, with new and improved hardware throughout, coupled with a top spec sail inventory from North.
A brilliant fun, turn-key boat that was only used a handful of times in the last 12 months. Season winning boat in both 2020 and 2021.

Build

"Gweilo", previously known as Toucan, has raced on the UK circuit, with professional maintenance since new.
The boat left the Premier Composites Technologies factory in 2015, heading to the UK to join the exciting HP30 class, a class that races under a box rule, using the IRC rating systems.

The Farr 280 since then has been one of, if not the stand out boat of that circuit, with further IRC optimization on top of the One Design pedigree.
This boat won the overall 2020 and 2021 HP30 Championships
