Overview

Launched in 1989 this 41ft steel cutter-rigged Bill Dixon design is an ideal blue water cruiser with a Beta 50HP (2006). She boasts a large inventory as she was designed and kitted out for world cruising and to be a liveaboard for extended periods at sea. An ideal opportunity to lay your hands on this 'go anywhere', heavy displacement cruiser. Beautifully kept and maintained, this is a truly special boat that benefits from only three owners since new. Currently ashore at Northney Marina, Hayling Island and available for viewings 6 days a week.

CONSTRUCTION (Round bilge)
Steel hull 4mm, keel 6mm, keel base 12mm (50B high tensile plate)
Steel deck and superstructure 43A (std plate)
Outside hull alu arc sprayed, epoxy coated filled & painted White
Inside the hull is epoxy and insulated with 1"/25mm foam to w/l
Below the waterline she is zinc arc sprayed, epoxied & bilge paint.
Long Keel with skeg hung rudder (encapsulated lead ballast).

There are lockers and shelves and numerous storage lockers under and behind the seats.
The fold-down table is fore and aft of the mast support.
The galley is on the starboard side, with chart table
and navigation equipment on the port side.
Galley has a double sink, Force 10 4 Burner gas cooker with oven and grill,
12v fridge, cold box (Isotherm) with plenty of storage.
Navigation Area: large chart table, sloping and fiddled, with storage for charts etc. Separate storage for pilot books.
The engine room underneath the cockpit is extremely accessible with removable panels permitting very good access.
The aft cabin has a double berth, with plenty of storage and hanging lockers.
The heads is to Port with toilet, basin shower compartment.
