  • Refinements to hull shapes, appendage design and sail plan build on extensive data from previous Botin projects, ensuring that the design package is evolutionary rather than experimental.

With an engineering degree in Yacht and Powercraft Design, he Initially pursued roles within the marine industry Including professional sailing in some of Worlds top teams, as well as project management.

Since 2012 Sam has been the driving force behind Ancasta Race Boats, bringing a sharp commercial edge and a genuine passion for high-performance sailing to every project he leads and having built the business to total over £40m in revenue over that time, Ancasta Race Boats are now the leading light in this sector.

With extensive experience in the performance yacht market, Sam understands what it takes to compete — and win. His approach is hands-on and detail-focused, ensuring that every boat under his management is optimized as best as possible, whether it be the sale of a used boat or development of a new design concept.
