The mast on the Lagoon 42's has a thoughtful further aft position, a design choice that optimises performance under sail, along with a Dacron square top sail and compact boom. This arrangement allows all controls to lead back to the helm, ensuring high performance and facilitating easy handling.

Skillfully designed by Nauta Design, The interior showcases an impressive three-double cabin layout, all complete with en-suite bathrooms.

The opulent and voluminous owner's hull suite offers a stately aft cabin with an island double bed, a dressing room and personal study with generous wardrobes, storage furniture and private library space. A spacious shower room and head sit forward, with a large storage vanity and a separate shower stall for enhanced functionality and privacy.

The port hull houses the two guest cabins, with the aft cabin boasting an exquisite bathing area with a separate walk-in shower. The forward cabin has a spacious double berth with side access, plenty of storage space, and a wet room head.

All the cabins come bathed in natural light and well-ventilated, thanks to expansive windows, opening portholes, and deck hatches with built-in mosquito blinds so you can feel the summer breeze as you relax.

The saloon of the Lagoon 42 embodies modern living and style: a large dining table that can comfortably accommodate all guests, a well-sized navigation area, and a fully-equipped galley means you never have to compromise on luxury to have functionality.

The galley to Starboard features a hob, oven, stainless steel sink, and ample stowage. The galley, positioned outward-facing to the cockpit, is outfitted with multiple worktops and superior refrigeration features, including a top-opening Freezer (12V/100L) and an additional 144-litre two-drawer fridge in the cockpit. A locker pre-fitted for a microwave further amplifies convenience, and there's even room for a washing machine within the owner's hull wardrobe.

The splendidly equipped Lagoon 42 is perfect for permanent live-aboard situations or family cruising. It possesses ample, intelligently designed space for everyone on board. Indeed, its remarkable 7.7m beam surpasses that of many 32-meter superyachts, bestowing upon this vessel a sense of volume that is truly awe-inspiring!
