OverviewLagoon 42 Stock Boat. A new member of the Lagoon family, the Lagoon 42 is simple to sail and offers plenty of comfortable living accommodation both above and below deck, making it perfect for couples or families who want to relax and cruise in comfort, but equally as exciting for those who want more of a thrill. The VPLP design boasts an elegant silhouette with flowing curves and noticeable acceleration of the lines in the bows. This, plus a new coachroof design, shows she is as powerful as she is dynamic for excellent performance under sail.
Good rates of finance and part exchange available, specification can be changed to suit customer requirement's.

RigSLOOP RIG WITH SELF TACKING FURLING GENOA
With its rig moved further aft, high aspect ratio mainsail, self tacking jib, the option of having a code 0 and asymmetric spinnaker the 42 can adapt to all conditions and speeds, whether being sailed with a small or large crew.
This boat will predominately be sailed short handed, with this in mind we have optioned a square topped mainsail, furling self tacking headsail and a code '0'.
The square topped mainsail is easier to handle for the smaller size crews, it is high aspect ratio so better performance and comes with a smaller boom so easier to handle, the self tacking headsail makes sail manoeuvres a breeze, whilst the code 0 provides the extra horsepower when the going gets light. Other sail combinations are available and can be discussed with an individual customer in mind.

AccommodationOWNERS VERSION SLEEPS 6 IN 3 DOUBLE CABINS WITH 3 EN-SUITE HEADS with comfort or essential equipment configuration
In the last couple of years the trend for the hotter countries has been to go for the Alpi Light Oak interior with Milano floors but more recently the majority of customers has turned this thinking on its head and going for the Alpi Walnut interior with Aspurgo floors as this is easier on the eye after a long hot day in the sun, along with the cooler feeling material upholstery in the saloon and settee that has become the more popular choice.
This 42 has three double cabins with en-suite bathrooms each with quiet flush electric toilets, showers and sinks. Under bed spring slats for comfort and to aid the air flow in the warmer climes. The aft cabins comprise an island double bed, wardrobes and ample bookshelves. The bright, well-ventilated interior has large windows in the hull sides and facing aft, both with opening ports. The Port aft cabin or guest VIP has a fabulous heads forward with a separate walk-in shower. Also storage furniture in lieu of sofa and "prefit" to cupboard to take washer/dryer if subsequently ordered. The fore cabin is equally generous: double bed again, with side access and good stowage, all bathed in light.
In the saloon of the Lagoon 42, functionality and ease of use is the watchword, a generous dining table capable of accommodating all the crew plus a few neighbours on 'L' shaped seating with a separate bench.
A large chart table and fully-equipped galley to starboard with:
Stainless steel sink and ample stowage.
Freezer, top opening (12V/100L)
