The Bluegame BGM75 is the latest release from the Italian shipyard and new range to join the successful BG and BGX. The BGM75 is a multihull with a difference, its used the two hulls to maximise efficiency, lower running costs, reduce emissions whilst keeping impressive performance on the water and increasing the overall volume and space for the owner. Looking at the stern you will not be aware it is a multihull however the length to width radio is not comparable to other production catamarans allowing more options for mooring/berthing where normally it would become an issue. The BGM75, the first model of the range, does not actually enter the multihull segment, but creates a new, parallel segment, far away from the multihulls to date on the market. Consistent with the Sanlorenzo group’s positioning, she is first and foremost a luxurious, beautiful motor yacht that “by chance” has not one hull, but two. Not even in this last feature, though, can be compared to any existing catamaran on the market. Primarily because, from the first glance, the shape of the boat moves away from the “boxy” shape of a catamaran, thanks to the reduced width in favour of a ratio between beam and length closer to a monohull. This allows for the horizontal surfaces between the two hulls to connect creating a single volume as if it were a monohull; but with larger spaces and the possibility of having a full beam owner’s cabin of extraordinary dimensions.
