The Beneteau Figaro 3 is the first production foiling one-design monohull ever to be designed and will enter the ISO / World Sailing Design category A. With a setback mast, a more extensive and larger sail plan, deeper keel and a ballast free hull, will make it as reliable as it's predecessor, the Figaro 2. The foils will have an inward facing profile which will create drift reduction, improve the boats righting moment, without increasing the movement, which will in turn increase the boats performance. 50 pre-sold boats were sold to Figaro Class members and launched all together in 2019 meaning that all competitors get the same amount of time to get to know their boat before competion.
