Southerly 32 | 2007
2007 Southerly 32 - a well presented example of these sought after cruising yachts. With the twin rudders and swing keel she can be easily beached when required but has a deep draft when sailing. Laid out with two cabins, a forward V berth and aft double separated by the well lit and comfortable saloon with ample seating and dedicated nav station and galley. On deck the aft cockpit is secure and protected with easy access forward. She has a fractional sloop rig with self tacking jib and genoa option, Yanmar engine, Raymarine electronics, bow thruster and selection of downwind sails. A wonderful boat for those who like to explore anywhere and everywhere in a safe and substantial yacht for her size.

The Southerly name is synonymous with UK built swing keel yachts and the Northshore yard produced a number of models up to 57 feet over 40 years. The 32 was introduced to bring a smaller yacht to the range and was considered one of the roomiest options at the time of launch. The sailing performance is regarded as fast and capable, combined with an easy to manage sail plan and twin rudders. These yachts continue to be sought after cruisers for couples and small families who want the best of sailing and exploring around everything a coastline has to offer.
