Overview

"YAGIZA" is a head-turning Beneteau First 53 from the Biscontini design office, that epitomizes everything defined by the "racer-cruiser" category of yachts.
Launched in 2020 for an experienced owner, she has been professionally skippered and maintained from day zero, with no stone left unturned in both the pursuit of performance on the race track, but also cruising refinement.
Striking with her Awlgrip Midnight Blue hull finish (new in 2025), she also benefits from a
long list of performance upgrades, most notably new rudders from Michel Desjoyeaux which has greatly pushed the performance both up and down wind.
Currently moored in Marseille and undergoing her usual winter care, a viewing can be arranged any time.

Build

The First 53 was officially launched at the Cannes Yachting Festival in September 2019.
She is 53 feet of sheer audacity and performance, perfectly in keeping with the new brand signature 'Avant-garde in boating'.
The Yacht has a tender garage, lots of large spaces inside with a real lounge area, teak mouldings and top quality materials, all of which make her a boat to rival those of other yacht enthusiasts.

This yacht is definitely set to hold her own against the big names in the fast cruiser and performance category. With many orders placed very quickly after the initial launch, it really does prove that Beneteau have achieved what they set out to do.

YAGIZA has been used primarily as a racer-cruiser on the Med scene since her launching, however she has also stretched her legs on one occasion during the RORC Transatlantic race in 2023, followed by a short Caribbean season that year. With many standout performances under her belt, most notably her class win at Les Voiles de Saint Tropez and podium at the Middle Sea Race, she is a proven yacht that of course offers a lot more than meets the eye, given her luxury cruising attributes as well.
