Overview

Stephen Thomas ST 37 One off Racer/Cruiser built in 2008, GRP sandwich hull, painted blue Awlgrip topsides, carbon mast, 12 sails (racing ones lightly used), perfect club racer that the current owner has had recent success with.

Build

One-off racer cruiser designed under the IRC rating rules from the drawing board of Stephen Thomas. Built by Turkish superyacht builders RMK Marine, completed in 2008

CONSTRUCTION
Vacuum assisted resin infused GRP sandwich partially chined hull.
Topsides spray painted in 2009 with Awlgrip - “Stars & Stripes” blue.
White Infused single piece sandwich deck and superstructure with large open aft cockpit and grey painted non-slip surfaces.
”T keel”, with cast iron blade and lead torpedo bulb giving low centre of gravity.
Composite rudder with carbon fibre stock driven by twin 800mm leather covered wheels set on alloy racing pedestals.
2 x Leather covered 800mm diameter steering wheel mounted on Aluminium racing pedestals
Alloy bow and stern cleats.

Forecabin: Double berth with stowage below, hanging locker, opening deck hatch.
Heads: Enclosed to port with washbasin and Brydon WC, assorted stowage. Opening deck hatch
Saloon: Settee berths with backrests to port and starboard. Storage below berths
Lightweight berth cushions in grey.
Galley: L shaped, aft to port with gimballed s/s gas cooker, oven & 2 burners.
S/s sink and small top opening coolbox. Assorted storage
Chart table: Aft to stbd, lightweight composite table and seat with storage
Quarter berths: To port and stbd with berth cushions and storage (large single or small double berths).
