Overview
European Yacht of the Year and the Most Innovative Boat of the Year, she was designed as a short-handed high-performance yacht. Only 11 units of the Shipman 50 were built.Fast and strong, seaworthy and comfortable, easy to sail and handle, functional and great looking, she is the racer's world cruiser. Zephyr has deck house views from the saloon without compromising her streamlined design. She is an extremely beautiful and capable cruiser with a carbon epoxy hull, a layout that combines an aft cockpit with a deckhouse and, with her high performance keel, a proven thoroughbred racer.
Build
The SHIPMAN 50 was designed by J & J and built by Seaway in Slovenia. The first carbon production sailing yacht, she offers a one-off race boat performance combined with the reliability and price advantage of a production yacht. Her other distinctive features are strength, simplicity and ease of handling.
