Owners Comments:
Refurbishing and upgrading Anakena over the past few years has been extremely enjoyable and rewarding, bringing this good-looking, well-constructed, quality Swedish yacht back to her former glory. In between working on her, we have sailed Anakena on extended cruises to the W Country and the Isles of Scilly – as well as locally in the Solent and along the S Coast. Anakena is a comfortable and sea-kindly long-distance cruiser and we have always felt safe and confident in her abilities, irrespective of the prevailing weather. She attracts attention and favourable comment wherever we visit.
We hadn’t planned on parting with Anakena, however another similar Swedish boat, in need of some serious ‘tlc’, has unexpectedly become available. We have therefore reluctantly convinced ourselves that now is the time for a new ‘challenge’ and thus it is time for somebody else to enjoy owning and sailing Anakena, our lovely N390.
