Overview
The Fairline Squadron 55 is a properly dressed performance cruiser from a venerable British boat builder. Rare to the market, this 2002 MK3 version boasts the much improved flybridge layout and proper flybridge stairs. Powered by twin Volvo Penta D12 700hp engines. The luxury accommodation combines a voluminous saloon with separate dinette, and a well equipped galley with adjacent utility room. SLEEPS UP TO EIGHT IN THREE CABINS PLUS CREW CABINMaster Cabin forward with a full-size double berth, full length mirror, storage and drawers, flatscreen TV, Sony speakers, mirror on forward bulkhead and his/hers wardrobes. En-suite heads with Vacuflush toilet, circular shower with teak grating, 4x mirror fronted high-level storage cupboards, double shaver point, heated towel rail.
Both port and starboard Guest Cabins have twin berths, storage cupboards, deep lined wardrobes & Avtex TV's, bulkhead mirrors. The port cabin has an en-suite which also acts as a day heads with Vacuflush toilet, circular shower with teak grating, 4x mirror fronted high-level storage cupboards, double shaver point, heated towel rail.
Saloon has large U-shaped settee to port around table with large sideboard opposite which consists of ice maker, flatscreen TV & Bose sound system, drinks cabinet with Fairline cutlery and glasses and storage.
Forward Dinette has large U-shaped settee to port around table (opposite helm).
Helm position to starboard with double flip-up helm seats in front of instrument panel and controls.
Steps down into the Galley, well equipped with double stainless steel sinks, 4-burner ceramic hob, dual voltage fridge/freezer, dishwasher, Panasonic combination microwave/oven/grill, plenty of storage cupboards and work surfaces. Utility Room is accessed through galley which has full size washer/dryer, large front-loading fridge, built-in ironing board, storage drawers and access to engine bay.
Crew Cabin (which is accessed via cockpit via steps beneath rear seat) which has twin berths (new mattress 2021), sink, heads and storage locker.
The Flybridge has a double helm seat with settee/lounger to starboard, a large 'U-shaped' seating area aft with an electric retractable dining table which converts into large sun-pad area, an electric BBQ with heat deflective backing, fridge with freezer compartment, sink and bin.
Cockpit with rear bench seat (re-upholstered 2021) and steps leading up to flybridge. Twin transom gates onto bathing platform and sliding patio doors through to main accommodation.
