Lagoon 40 Overview

The Lagoon 40 is an incredibly easy boat to own and enjoy. The helm controls and self-tacking jib make single-handed tacking and reefing an absolute breeze. The single raised steering position provides all round views and maximises space in the open-plan cockpit. Performance is maximised by way of a tall, high aspect ratio mainsail and reduced weight in non-structural subcomponents. The interior features 3 or 4 generous sized cabins with semi-island beds and is now available with a walnut or white oak finish.

Key Features

Lagoon 40 helm
The elevated ergonomic helm station with luxurious double seat provides great visibility over the deck and is accessible from the cockpit to enable free flowing communication between the skipper and crew. The optional helm station bimini comes with clear removable screens all round and integrates with the cockpit enclosure.
Lagoon 40 cockpit
The wide and comfortable aft cockpit is on one level, flush with the salon floor and provides easy access to the helm. The GRP cockpit table can be upgraded to a larger teak version as  shown. The cushions are exceptionally comfortable and there is additional seating along the rear beam.
Lagoon 40 running
The forward cockpit provides additional space to relax on sunloungers with adjustable backrests. Anchor management takes place safely at the bow, accessed via a solid gangway over the trampoline.
Lagoon 40 running aerial
This is the easiest-handling catamaran that Lagoon has ever produced, thanks to the innovative centrally positioned mast: this creates a shorter boom to reduce stress when reefing or gybing and allows space for a self-tacking genoa. To tack, simply turn the wheel! A furling Code Zero sail provides additional “horsepower” in reaching conditions.
