Overview

J122 "El Ocaso" is new to the market and fresh out of a complete overhaul.

A great example of the evergreen J122 design that still sets race courses alight, whilst being a comfortable and easy to manage yacht.

Having resided in the Caribbean for the last 10 years or so, this brilliantly presented version from 2008 has been a front runner on the local racing circuits..
Typically only in the water between March – May each year and then laid up ashore for the other 9 months, hours on the hull are very low compared to similar aged sistership and thanks to an extensive overhaul of the yacht in 2023, she is ready for another fun and successful campaign.

Almost all systems overhauled in her recent refit, including a full interior makeover ensures this is now a turn-key type yacht.
Delivery of the yacht to SE or SW coast USA included in the sale price.

Please contact for further information and detail on her refit.

Broker Comments

One of the real standout boats on the Caribbean circuit for the last few years and these J/122 designs just keep banging in the results! A great racing setup on "El Ocaso" and thanks to those top end North 3Di sails, there is little expenditure for the next few seasons.El Ocaso has always been, and remains a very competitive boat. 2023 results: 2023 BVI regatta / 2nd in class 2023 St Bath regatta / 1st in class 2023 Antigua Sailing Week / 1st in class (and winner overall - the Lord Nelson Trophy)
