Overview

Flying Light is a 42ft performance sailing yacht built by Beneteau Yachts in 1982. She has a white hull and teak laid decking in the cockpit and over the vast majority of deck areas new in 2010. This cutter rigged yacht has a keel stepped mast with Hood in mast furling with Vektron vertical battens and comes with a specification for ocean sailing with a generator, solar panels, three autopilots, three chart plotters and an astro hatch. She has two double cabins, two heads and a spacious saloon.
"Flying Light" has an interesting history, being the boat used by Denise St.Aubyn Hubbard in 1988, to become the oldest lady ever to sail single handed across the Atlantic.
Viewing is available by appointment seven days a week on her berth on the river Dart.
