Overview

"Gladiator" the 2015 TP52 is now on the market.
Judel Vrolijk design and built by Persico, this is widely regarded as the highest quality TP52 of that generation, with absolutely no stone left un-turned. This TP is also the sistership to the 2017 World Champion winning design, Platoon.

Specifically optimized for an owner-driver, this boat now also benefits from a number of round the cans/coastal upgrades, including both wheels and tiller steering, halyard locks and genoa staysails, as well as a full cosmetic update in December 2023.
"Gladiator" possibly has the fewest hours of sailing on any TP52 in the World today and would be a real contender for ANY top level racing that a new owner might be wishing to do...... Great Lakes campaign? Admirals Cup?....... Perfect.

GLADIATOR is a TP52 designed to meet the 2015 TP52 Super Series box rule and is the sistership to the 2015 PLATOON design, which WON the 2017 TP52 World Championships and has flourished as an offshore racer as well.

Campaigned successfully on the 2015 and 2016 TP52 Super Series and then more recently been used in the US, with the Great Lakes 52 Class and big boat fleets under IRC and ORCi.
Some simple ballast modifications allowed compliance to the PAC 52 rule. This has since been removed.


The boat was built by the world renowned team at Perciso Marine in Italy, with a no-expense-spared build phase, under the watchful eye of Project Manager, Jason Carrington.
Jason Carrington is responsible for boats like INEOS/RAN/Hugo Boss and is renowned as one of the worlds best boat builders.
The philosophy of this design and build was to not only create the fastest boat, but also build a boat that could be better handled by an amateur, owner/driver.


CONSTRUCTION
Pre-preg Carbon fiber deck, hull and superstructure, with Nomex cores.
Built in compliance with Class rules and ISO standards.
Further optimized for round the cans style of racing in 2018 and again in 2019.
Cosmetic overhaul in 2019 changing from her original red colour to black and further cosmetic fixes in December 2023 - She presents immaculately.
